This weekend, we had the opportunity to present our research to the German public. We participated in the celebrations of the German Unity Day (Tag der deutschen Einheit) which is held every year in a different part of Germany – this year it was in Saarbrücken.
Philipp Rudakov presented his Bachelor thesis project where he explores people’s experiences and preferences for interacting in Mixed Reality with 2D or 3D UI elements and how these two could be combined. He was supported by Prof. Anna Maria Feit.
Everybody was excited to try out the demos and hear about our research, including ESA Astronaut Dr. Matthias Maurer and Minister of Finances and Science Jakob von Weizsäcker. Philipp is supervised by our Post-doc João Belo.
